Helping You Arrive—and Thrive—at Wentworth
At Wentworth, any student who does not live on campus is considered a commuter. In fact, 51 percent of all undergraduate day students at Wentworth are commuters. So whether you travel to and from Wentworth each day by the MBTA bus, subway, or commuter rail system; or by car, bike or foot, we are here to ensure that your Wentworth experience is as smooth, safe and successful as possible.
Here you will be find a wide range of useful information and resources. If you have any specific questions or concerns not addressed here, please feel free to contact us at 617-989-4890 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or stop by the Center for Student Engagement in room 026 of the Flanagan Campus Center (Beatty Hall) between 8:15 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Get involved on campus
Commuters have the same opportunity as residential students to be involved in student organizations, leadership programs and campus events. The Center for Student Engagement offers over 60 student organizations, hosts leadership development classes and workshops, and coordinates fun and informative activities and events on campus. For more information, contact the Center for Student Engagement.
Stay safe in the city
Wentworth’s convenient location in the heart of Boston offers many benefits, but like in any urban center students have to be alert. You may request a 24-hour safety escort to walk you to and from Wentworth parking lots and our nearest MBTA stations. Check out our Office of Public Safety for a full list of services and additional safety information.
Pay as you go
Commuters on the go don’t always have time to find an ATM. Fenway Cash is a simple way to pay for services on and off campus. Fenway Cash is stored on your Wentworth student ID card and can be used for copy and print services on campus, purchases at the bookstore and Beatty Cafe, and at the Info Hub for discount movie tickets and much more. Visit www.fenwaycard.com to learn how to:
- Add money to your Fenway Cash account using a debit or credit card
- Find restaurants and businesses that accept Fenway Cash
