DTS Media Services supports the Wentworth Community by supporting our mediated classrooms on campus, maintaining an inventory of media equipment available for loan for academic purposes, and by providing media support for meetings, conferences, and special events on campus.
There are over 60 classrooms across campus that have a variety of media equipment installed in the room. Should a faculty member require media technology in conjunction with teaching a class, please request a mediated classroom through the Registrar's Office. All classrooms are checked for functionality on a bi-weekly basis.
The Media Services team also supports special events for academic and campus life purposes. There are auditoriums, conference rooms and meeting rooms across campus that also have a variety of media equipment installed in the room. There is additional equipment available upon request for locations that have more complex media technology needs.
Loaner Media Resources
The DTS Media Services has a larger number of equipment resources available to Wentworth Faculty and Staff.
Media equipment and services are available during the same hours that the Help Desk is open and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Interactive Technology in Mediated Classrooms
The Division of Technology Services is changing our mediated classroom standard to advance with newer technologies that will assist in expanding the classroom learning experience. Epson's Ultra-short throw Interactive Projectors will now be installed in all new and upgraded classrooms for increased functionality. These projectors transform the whiteboard into a "digital" surface that allows you to write in digital ink with a pen, interact with applications and save your notes.
