Purpose of Jobs, Duties, and Responsibilities
The Office Assistant in Commuter Student Programs helps maintains office operations throughout the week. Duties include helping students, answering email inquiries, photocopying/faxing/printing, creating marketing materials, providing event assistance when applicable, and other departmental arrangements, and keeping the work area clean.
Office Assistants will provide exemplary customer service by providing information about campus, giving directions, and positive daily interactions with commuter and off-campus students that visit the office of Commuter Student Programs.
Qualifications
Applicant must be able to perform duties with limited supervision. Office experience is helpful, must have excellent customer service. Ideal candidate is familiar with the commuter student experience at Wentworth. Desire to help other students and willingness to refer students to appropriate on campus resources and services.
Hours:
Hours vary on availability. Commuter Student Programs is open during the following hours: Monday-Friday: 8:15am-4:45pm
$8.00/hr
