Purpose of Jobs, Duties, and Responsibilities

Students will help oversee equipment use in and out of the labs. Assist with equipment repair and maintenance as necessary. May fabricate and install fixtures as needed in the labs.

Qualifications

Applicants should know how to use tools such as a drill/driver, hand tools, circular saw, miter saw, and have a working knowledge of plumbing fittings, low and high voltage wiring, switches, transformers, circuit breakers, precision instruments such as dial indicators, and frequently used software packages such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sketchup. If you know nothing about tools, hardware, and software, but you are willing to learn, do apply.

Students may be expected to learn software related to equipment in the labs. Applicants must be self-starters who can solve problems and be productive when working alone.

$10.00/hr
