1. What can I do if I do not receive financial aid?
If you do not have financial aid, you may apply for alternative financing
or set up a payment plan through Tuition Management Systems or visit
www.afford.com
2. Why are you asking for tax info, etc…?
Federal regulations require that we verify certain information and
documents.
3. When will my financial aid disburse?
Provided all paperwork is complete, disbursements generally occur 6 weeks
into each semester.
4. How do I waive/participate in the health insurance program?
You must complete a health insurance reply online at
www.universityhealthplans.com.
Information will be mailed with your first Statement of Account. Be sure
to check whether you wish to waive or enroll in the health insurance plan.
5. When do I expect to receive my bill?
Bills will be mailed mid-June for the Fall semester and mid-November for
the Spring semester. Summer bills will go out at the end of March.
6. What happens if my account is not paid in full by the due date?
You are not officially registered. You cannot attend classes or move into
the residence halls until full payment is received. Failure to pay tuition
and fees by the due date will result in cancellation of your class
schedule.
7. Where do I get my ID?
Replacement IDs cost $15 and can be paid for at the Student Service
Center.
8. What is my student ID used for?
IDs are used for identification as well as library access, meal purchases,
book purchase,
Leopard Connection (online access to student records) etc. In
addition, you can use your Student ID to go to all WIT sports events.
9. Where do I get my Leopard Connection password?
Passwords can be obtained at the Student Service Center in person (a
picture ID is required).
10. What information is available
using the Leopard Connection?
You can register and pay for classes, obtain grades, check financial aid
status and get class schedules.
11. How can I check my schedule or grades?
You may check your schedule on the Leopard Connection:
a) Go to http://lconnect.wit.edu
b) Enter Username
Enter Password
c) Click on the Leopard paw located on My Pipeline
page.
d) Click on Student Services & Financial Aid
e) Select Grades to view your grades (at end of
grading period)
g) Select Student Registration & Schedule to view
your schedule
h) Select term from pull-down menu
i) Select Detailed Schedule
j) Log Off
12. When is the last day to Add/Drop a class or to withdraw from
Wentworth?
The last day to drop or add a course is listed in the Registrar’s calendar
of Important Dates. This calendar:
a) Appears in the Transcript (student newspaper)
b) Is on the Academic Calendar
You may refer to the current
Wentworth Catalogue for additional information about the
drop/add or withdrawal process.
13. What classes are offered next semester?
For a comprehensive listing of all courses offered by Wentworth,
please see our Catalogue.
The schedule of courses for a specific semester is available on Leopard
Connection. It is usually available one week prior to start of
registration. You may access the schedule by:
a) Going to http://lconnect.wit.edu
b) Entering Username
Entering Password
c) Clicking on the Leopard paw located on My
Pipeline page.
d) Clicking on Student Services & Financial Aid
e) Selecting course
f) Selecting term
g) Logging Off
14. Can I register if I have a hold on my account?
No. All holds must be removed from your account before you will be able to
register. You may check your account for any holds by checking your
"Registration Status" using Leopard Connection. If you have questions
regarding your "Registration Status", please contact the Student Service
Center staff at (617) 989-4020.
15. What information will
I need to register using Leopard Connection? (http://lconnect.wit.edu)
a) Your Username
b) Your Password (6-Digit PIN Number). Visit the SSC with a photo
ID if you do
not know your Password. Remember: Passwords
can NOT be released over the phone.
c) The 5-digit Call Numbers for all the courses for which you would
like to register.
(Call Numbers can be found in the Schedule of Classes or on
the Leopard Connection.)
16. How will I know that I am registered for all of my courses?
You may confirm that you are registered for your courses by viewing your
schedule on Leopard Connection. Schedules will not be mailed. You may
print a copy of your on-line schedule. You are encouraged to review your
schedule periodically for any changes.
17. When do I petition to graduate?
The earlier you petition, the better. The deadline for submitting your
petition is the final day to add a class at the start of the semester you
plan to complete your degree.
REGISTRATION
You can register
online from your residence hall or from home, if you have a valid access
number. Use the following steps to register for courses during published
web registration periods.
a) Go to
http://lconnect.wit.edu
b) At the initial login screen enter both your Username and your Password
(6-digit personal identification number.
c) Click on the Leopard paw located on My Pipeline page.
d) Click on Student Services & Financial Aid.
e) Select Student Registration & Schedule
f) Select Drop/Add
g) Select term from pull-down menu
h) Enter the 5-digit Call Numbers for all the courses for which you would
like to register and click on Submit. (Call Numbers can be found in the
Schedule of Classes or on the Leopard Web.)
i) To log off, click on “Log Out” located at the top of the page.
Protect
your Password.
If you
lose, forget, or think your PASSWORD has been compromised you must visit
the SSC to get a new PASSWORD. (Students are encouraged to personalize
the Password after the first use.)
