The non-traditional student population at Wentworth is a very important
part of the campus culture. Non-traditional students are those over the
age of 25, who are either going to college for the first time, or have
gone back to school full-time to finish their degree. This diverse group
of students often has families, full-time jobs, and other commitments and
responsibilities that the traditional college age (18-24) student is not
faced with. It is for these reasons that we pay particular attention to
the needs and concerns of our ‘non-trads’, and try to provide them with as
much support and as many resources as possible.
The Fall 2002 Non-traditional student brunch with the Dean will be held on
Wednesday, December 4th at 10am in the Alumni Lounge. Please contact Lisa
Walsh at 617-989-4487 or
walshl@wit.edu
if you are interested in attending.
The Dean’s Office is very interested in hearing from non-traditional
students. We encourage you to contact us at
(617) 989-4487 with your questions
and concerns.
