The Dean of Students Office is the advocate for all
students at the Institute and works to make the student’s experience at
Wentworth as positive as possible. As partners in the educational process,
non-academic student services must enhance and support the academic
mission of the Institute. The services provided by the departments
reporting to the Dean of Students provide essential elements contributing
to the richness of the total educational experience. Students are
encouraged to drop by the office to voice questions or concerns over
personal and social issues. The Dean oversees the co-curricular programs
at the Institute, including Housing and Residential Life, Student
Activities and Multicultural Programs, the Counseling Center, Health
Services, International Student Advising, Cooperative Education and Career
Planning, Student Discipline and Community Standards, and is also
responsible for ensuring that the Institute’s Student Code of Conduct is
respected. Students are encouraged to call attention to any practices or
procedures that are believed to violate the rights of others. The Dean of
Students Office publishes the Student Handbook, which provides information
about services for students and co-curricular life. Students are expected
to be familiar with and abide by the regulations set forth in the Handbook
and in any other official Wentworth publication.
