In order to make the transition for international students as smooth as possible, Wentworth employs a full-time International Student Advisor. This advisor has extensive experience with international students and has been assisting them in their personal, social, and academic adjustment to Wentworth (and the U.S.) for many years.
All new international students should contact the International Student Advisor as soon as possible after their arrival on campus, at either ssc@wit.edu or at 617-989-4920. Wentworth’s International Student Advisor is an expert on Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) regulations and policies, and is also helpful in dealing with the challenges unique to international students. Although routine academic questions should be directed to students' faculty advisors or department heads, the International Student Advisor may be able to assist in more serious matters that cannot be resolved by academic staff members.
Wentworth’s International Student Advisor also serves as advisor to the Inter-Cultural Students Society, which welcomes new members to its meetings and programs.
