Scholarship Opportunities for Incoming First Year and Transfer Students

Arioch and President's Scholarship Application Information for Fall 2010

The Arioch and President’s Scholarships are awarded each year to a premier group of incoming students. These awards are granted to those who have demonstrated excellent academic achievements, and have actively involved themselves in both their school and extended community.  An award of $13,000 is granted to Arioch Scholars and $11,000 is granted to President’s Scholars.

Applicant eligibility
Applicants must be first-time freshman or transfer applicants for admission to Wentworth Institute of Technology.  First-time International Applicants may also apply.  Applicants must have a minimum SAT (Critical Reading, Math, and Writing) score of 1600 or an ACT Composite score of 24.  Scholarship applicants must already have received their acceptance to Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Renewal requirements
Scholarships may be renewed and applied toward tuition as long as the recipient maintains a Grade Point Average (G.P.A.) of 3.0 and is a full time student. The scholarship can only be applied to credit based semesters.

How to apply
Eligible applicants must submit the following materials to apply.

All applicants will be considered for both the Arioch and President's Scholarships; you do not need to send in separate applications.

National Co-Op Scholarship deadline extended to March 15th, 2010.

National Co-Op Scholarship Information Fall 2010

Applicants who have been accepted to Wentworth by March 15, 2010 and have above a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, are eligible to apply for the National Commission for Cooperative Education scholarships of $6,000 each. Thirty merit co-op scholarships of $6,000 each, renewable up to $24,000 to $30,000 per program and University criteria.
