Joseph McNichols is licensed as a Professional Land
Surveyor in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He attended
Northeastern University in Boston as a Surveying and Highway
Engineering major.
He teaches surveying related courses including
Construction Surveying, Surveying Measurement,14 and Massachusetts
Regulations affecting the Surveying Profession.
He is a member of the Massachusetts Association of
Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers (MALSCE) and the National Society
of Professional Surveyors (NSPS).
He serves on the Industrial Advisory Committee for
the Surveying Engineering Technology program at the University of
Maine.
In 2005 the Massachusetts Association of Land
Surveyors and Civil Engineers awarded him a Presidential Citation
for his work in surveying education and in 2007 he was named
Surveyor of the Year.
In addition to working at Wentworth he is currently
employed as the County Surveyor by the County of Norfolk.
