Ali Khabari, B.S., M.S., Ph.D.
Dr. Ali Khabari is a full time
faculty in the Electronics Engineering Technology Program at
Wentworth Institute of Technology. He has taught
many engineering and technology courses in the areas of digital/analog
circuits and devices, control and communication systems, neural
networks, fuzzy logic and nanotechnology.
he earned his
Baccalaureate, Master and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from
Florida International University.
His doctoral dissertation titled,
“Formation and investigation of Nanostructured Thin film” is a
comprehensive study of foundation and analysis of nanostructured
materials. He has studied the properties of nanoparticles and their
possible applications in the last eight years. He has grown gold,
copper, iron, carbon, silver, cobalt, zirconium, nickel, tungsten,
chromium, molybdenum, tantalum, and platinum nanostructured thin
films. He has designed and developed a new deposition system for
partially ionized beam deposition of parylene. He has published
various nanotechnology related papers in refereed scientific journals including the
Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology, Thin Solid Films, Journal
of Magnetism and Materials and Journal of Non-Crystalline Solids. He
has the experience and knowledge of working with different
analytical instruments and deposition systems.
He is a member of American Vacuum
Society, American Physical Society, Institute of
Electrical and Electronics Engineers and American Association for the Advancement
of Science. |
