The Construction Management program prepares you for upper-level management
positions. Its emphasis on the business and management aspects of construction
helps you build on your technical knowledge and develop your “big
picture” skills. Classes explore topics such as labor relations,
team building, finance, law and contracts, and budgeting. Graduates of
this program are hired by construction and building design firms to manage
large, complex projects. They often move from supervisor to construction
manager, project manager, or field engineer. Graduates of Wentworth’s
associate’s degree programs in Architectural Technology and Building
Construction may enter this program directly. Students with associate’s
or bachelor’s degrees from other schools may also transfer into
it.
