Division of Professional and Continuing Studies Admissions Process

The Division of Professional and Continuing Studies welcomes students on a rolling admissions basis. You may apply and begin in any one of the three semesters offered during the academic year: Fall (classes begin in early September), Spring (classes begin in early January) or Summer (classes begin in mid-May.) Once your application is processed, you can register for a course(s) in the next scheduled semester.

Our goal is to make the application and registration process as simple as possible. An admissions counselor will assist you with initial course selection and you will be assigned an academic advisor who will work with you throughout your tenure as a DPCS student. In addition, your academic advisor will assist you in exploring possibilities for earning advanced standing credit through work experience and testing options, including the College Level Examination Program (CLEP.)

In addition to the completed application, the following materials are necessary:
an official transcript of record from a recognized high school or official G.E.D. scores and official transcript(s) for course work complete at another college(s.) All materials must be submitted prior to registration in your second semester as a DPCS student. Once all required materials are received, your application can be processed for admissions and evaluated for transfer credit.
