If you are a laborer or carpenter, the Building Construction program could help you get the credentials to become a job supervisor, estimator, or field superintendent. As it helps you translate your technical knowledge into other areas of operation, the program provides a solid foundation in the fundamentals of construction—from surveying and scheduling to codes and contracts. You can go on to work on large commercial projects as well as residential construction. Graduates of this program may choose to sit for their builder’s license or go on to become licensed CAD designers. They may also enter Wentworth’s bachelor’s degree programs in Construction Management or Project Management.
