
Timothy H. Dalton teaches English Composition for the Division of
Professional and Continuing Studies.
He graduated Cum Laude from Boston State College where he earned
his Baccalaureate Degree in English. Mr. Dalton did his
graduate work at Boston College, earning an MAT with an English
concentration and passing the Masters Comprehension Exam with
Distinction.
Additionally Mr. Dalton has acquired 45 hours of graduate study
in literature, educational technology and the pedagogy of reading,
writing and speaking.
Mr. Dalton was awarded a fellowship to
the Boston Writing Project's Summer Writing Institute at the
University of Massachusetts. Mr. Dalton was also awarded an
Independent Study in the Humanities Fellowship, from the council for
Basic Education in Washington, D.C. He conducted an
independent study of Alexis de Tocqueville's life and
work.
In addition to working at Wentworth Institute of Technology, Mr.
Dalton is currently employed at Xaverian Brothers High School, where
he teaches the Senior World Literature curriculum. |
