English Placement Exam
The purpose of the placement exam is to assist the English faculty in placing you in an English class which best meets your present needs. Competency in written and spoken English is one of Wentworth’s Learning and Competency objectives, and this test will help you to meet this requirement.

Math Placement Exam (New Full-Time Students)
Since mathematics plays such an essential role in the study of design, technology, and engineering, it is critical that you begin your study of mathematics at the appropriate level. To guarantee that each student is placed in the appropriate mathematics level, we administer a Mathematics Placement Exam on the Web.

Math Placement Exam: DPCS (Evening and Weekend Division)
The Division of Professional and Continuing Studies requires all
incoming Wentworth students to complete this exam to ensure they
are placed at the appropriate level of mathematics. It consists
of three sections that correspond to our required series of courses:
|
Math 225
|
College Mathematics A
|
|
Math 230
|
College Mathematics B
|
Math 235
|
College Mathematics C
|
Depending on how students perform on this exam, you may be placed
into a higher level class and awarded credit for its pre-requisites.
While results will not be used to place students in a lower level
class, it may be recommended that they take MATH 120, Basic Algebra,
to gain the foundation necessary to be successful in future courses.
