Mock Interview Day 2013

What:
Mock Interview Day

When:
October 22: 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Where:
Wentworth Institute of Technology, Watson Auditorium

Information:
Mock Interview Day offers the opportunity for students to practice their interviewing skills and receive direct feedback from volunteer interviewers in a format that does not have the pressure of a formal interview.

Each interview last approximately 30 minutes and consists of a 15-20 minute interview and 10-15 minutes of advice, verbal feedback, and student questions. The employers offer constructive feedback for improving interview skills and understanding the nuances and proper techniques for handling a job interview.

A majority of students attending the event are junior students who are preparing for and seeking co-op opportunities. In the past, students have received formal co-op interviews from connections made during this event.

This year, 44 volunteers from 34 employer organizations will hold 176 practice interviews for students participating in Mock Interview Day.

The event is sponsored by the Department of Career Services. For more information, please contact Director of Career Services Greg Denon at 617-989-4101 or denong@wit.edu.
