Women @ Wentworth
In commemoration of 41 years of women at Wentworth, the annual Women @ Wentworth event in Watson Auditorium brought together alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends on Saturday, March 23. Industry leaders joined Wentworth alumnae to lead a panel discussion on “Carving Your Own Path: Becoming an Entrepreneur & Taking the Non-Traditional Route,” among approximately 70 attendees.
Participants on the panel included Stefania Nappi Mallet, co-founder of ezCater, Inc.; Elizabeth Ricci, a 25-year veteran of enterprise software development; two alumni, Brenda Grant-Hays, AET ’82, and Rebecca Morris, FMC ’97; and moderator Rose Conti, BCN ’92, ABC ’09, BCM ’12.
A highlight of the day was Wentworth’s annual presentation of the Woman of the Year award. This year’s honoree was alumna Sharon Jozokos, AET ’92, CMC ’93. Jozokos is a project executive for Suffolk Construction with more than 22 years of experience in the construction industry.
