  • Content: is the information legitimate?
  • Authority: who wrote it?
  • Currency: when was it last updated?
  • Organization/Accessibility: can you find and access it easily?
  • Quick Eval: what does the URL end with? - .com, .edu, etc.

  • Catalog searches for books at WIT Alumni Library and other local institutions
  • For artsy books with glossy pictures, look under the call numbers 720-729
  • For books with diagrams on the building's construction, look under the call numbers 690-699.

Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals  

  • Most comprehensive resource to find magazine article citations on architecture
  • Topics range from archaeology to city planning
  • Citations list whether the article includes photos plans, etc.
