New study abroad experience for Wentworth Industrial and Interior Design
The Wentworth Industrial and Interior Design Programs have launched a new study abroad program in Berlin, Germany to start in the summer semester of 2012. This program is open to junior level students in the design programs and will fulfill all curricular requirements for graduation. The study abroad experience provides the opportunity to travel and study in Europe for the summer junior semester.
In Berlin, studio and technical classes will be lead by Wentworth and German faculty with the assistance of practicing professionals as adjunct faculty and guest critics. While in Berlin students live together in shared housing and have dedicated studio space. In addition, the semester will include a faculty lead tour focused on a specific aspect of design. This summer students will be in Switzerland, Italy, and France visiting BMW, Ferrari, The Vitra Design Museum and The Louvre.
