Wentworth is committed to maintaining a work and learning environment free of all forms of discrimination, including sexual harassment. In keeping with that commitment, we have arranged for every faculty and staff member to participate in an interactive training program entitled Harassment Prevention on Campus. This program outlines current laws and use examples to illustrate words and behaviors that might reasonably be regarded as sexual harassment and discrimination, and therefore should be avoided.
Harassment Prevention on Campus
New employees are required to take this program within the first 30 days of their hire date. Once successfully completed, you will be asked to print out a certificate and return it to the Human Resources office.
Instructions on accessing the course follow.
This interactive, online course can be taken at your own pace. You may stop and start the course as often as you wish. As long as you take the course on the same computer, the course will always take you back to the last slide you viewed.
You will first need to register yourself as a course user. Click on the “new members register here” button on the course home page. Enter your first and last name, and choose your own username and password (please be sure to keep track of this information as you will need it in the future to log in to access the Harassment Prevention on Campus course).
Once logged in, you will then be taken to a page where you are asked to select (by clicking a link) the version of Harassment Prevention on Campus that applies to you. You will see Staff, Staff Supervisor, Faculty, and Faculty Supervisor are the available choices. Please note the supervisor versions of the training do have extra learning components that you must complete, and that the faculty and staff versions of the course are different. Consider carefully which of the four choices best applies to you before proceeding.
When the course begins you will be taken to a Training Dashboard which will walk you through each step of the course. You will view five (or, if you are a supervisor, seven) learning modules. After each module take a short, five-question quiz. At the end of the course you will receive a certificate of completion. Please print this certificate and forward it to Human Resources.
You may log out of the course at any time and will be able to resume where you left off. Each time you enter the course website, you must select the version of the course you were previously taking in order to continue.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. If you have any technical difficulties, there is a technical support form on the home page of the course website where you may submit the issue you are experiencing.
