Hiring a Wentworth Co-op Student

The co-op program
Introduced in 1975, the Wentworth co-op program is the second largest in New England, and one of the most comprehensive of its kind in the nation. This past year year, over 700 companies and nearly 1,400 students participated in our co-op program.

An experienced staff of co-op professionals, and a comprehensive online job listing service helps us achieve high satisfaction levels for both students and their employers.

Average compensation
Rates depend on major and experience. For specific hourly figures, please contact the Co-op Coordinator for that major.

Hiring a student

  1. Typically, co-op recruiting begins two to three months prior to the co-op term. (*See the note below for specifics.)
  2. Through LeopardLaunch, Wentworth’s job posting and recruiting system, employers can register a profile and post unlimited co-op and full-time jobs for students, upcoming graduates and experienced graduates.
  3. Students view job postings and submit resumes to you directly or through the Career Center.
  4. Through LeopardLaunch, employers can also search for student resumes, request on-campus interview schedules and rsvp to career events.
  5. Employers have control of who they want to interview and hire for co-op positions.

*Please note: Co-op students are available for work during the following co-op cycles:
January – April (recruiting begins in October)
May – August (recruiting begins in February)
September – December (recruiting begins in June)
