What is the Parents' Fund?
The Parents' Fund offers a way for parents to make unrestricted gifts to Wentworth in order to provide the best technology-based education to your child. Unrestricted funds allow the Institute to address the most pressing needs on campus — priorities such as financial aid, cutting-edge equipment, faculty support, and dorm maintenance. Gifts to the Parents' Fund are especially important because they have the power to stretch across campus and have a positive affect on each and every student, faculty, and staff member.
Why does Wentworth need your support; doesn't tuition cover everything?
The cost for a student to attend Wentworth is actually more than the cost of tuition. The Parents' Fund helps to bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of a student attending the Institute.
Why is your participation important?
Donor participation (including participation of parents) affects Wentworth's ranking in publications such as the U.S. News & World Report. This publication is widely read by prospective students and their families. In addition, corporations and foundations look at donor participation to decide if Wentworth is an institution that they would like to support.
Can you make a gift in honor of your child?
Absolutely! Giving a gift to Wentworth is a great way to show your child that you support his/her education and believe in the Institution.
Wentworth is extremely grateful to all forms of support that we receive. Each and every gift has a positive and meaningful impact on the future of the Institute.
