Emergency Terms and Definitions
When the crisis or emergency situation has ended, an All Clear message will be sent to the campus community by Public Safety. Upon receiving this message, individuals are able to leave their place of safety. Although the immediate situation is over, additional information may be provided to best assist the campus community in the aftermath.
What do I do after receiving an All Clear?
- Continue to remain calm.
- Carefully check your surroundings to see if anyone in your immediate vicinity needs assistance.
- Be cautious of fallen debris or other hazards caused by the crisis or emergency situation.
- Be attentive in case more information is transmitted from RAVE and/or emergency personnel.
- Crisis Counseling will be provided if the situation requires.
