Faculty & Staff Email Migration
Wentworth will be migrating Faculty and Staff email accounts to an upgraded service. The upgraded service is Microsoft's cloud service called Office 365 and is the same service that our students have been using since 2012. These migration dates are yet to be determined. We will keep you updated by email on status and plans while we continue to work on preparing for the migration.
What does this mean for you?
- Increased mailbox size. Mailbox quota is increasing from 2GB to 50GB, that's 25x the size of current mailboxes!
- Improved collaboration with students.
- Better performance.
- Anytime/anywhere access.
What do you need to do?
We will have three migration windows for Faculty and Staff to choose on when to have their account migrated. The first two windows will be "opt-in” selections. In the third window, all remaining accounts will be migrated. Once the migration windows have been finalized, we will send out those dates to you.
What's the Impact to me?
The email migration is a "behind the scenes" process while we move from physical servers to this "cloud" service. While the web version, Outlook Web Access, will have a new look, the Outlook application, or your mail application of choice1 on your computer will be unaffected.
This is phase one of implementing Office 365 at Wentworth for Faculty and Staff. While we will continue to communicate with you through email, please check back as we announce what's coming!
Information and Support

1 Mail applications such as Outlook and Apple Mail will not be affected. Their settings will update automatically. If your mail client requires you to setup your email as IMAP and not Exchange, you will need to update the settings once your account is migrated.
