WIT’s Project Management Process:

WIT’s Project Management Process

Initiation:

All projects are initiated by the submission of a Project Request Form submitted to DTS.

Planning & Design:

Approved projects are assigned to the DTS Project Manager who develops the project scope, project charter, project plan , and project schedule.

Executing:

The project is executed by the DTS Project Manager using project management best practices.

Monitoring & Controlling:

The DTS Project Manager ensures that all project activities and deliverables are accomplished as established in the project scope and schedule.

Closing and Post Implementation:

The project is officially closed following the successful completion of all activities as established in the project scope and schedule. A Post Implementation Review (PIR) is conducted at a predetermined time after project closure to evaluate the success of the project in achieving its intended goals.
