About Project Management
WIT’s Project Management Process:
All projects are initiated by the submission of a Project Request Form submitted to DTS.
Planning & Design:
Approved projects are assigned to the DTS Project Manager who develops the project scope, project charter, project plan , and project schedule.
The project is executed by the DTS Project Manager using project management best practices.
Monitoring & Controlling:
The DTS Project Manager ensures that all project activities and deliverables are accomplished as established in the project scope and schedule.
Closing and Post Implementation:
The project is officially closed following the successful completion of all activities as established in the project scope and schedule. A Post Implementation Review (PIR) is conducted at a predetermined time after project closure to evaluate the success of the project in achieving its intended goals.
