This policy defines the guidelines for Internet streaming of live video and audio by Wentworth Institute of Technology. This policy also informs each person who is attending events that their image and voice may appear online and you hereby consent to any liability there forth.
To schedule streaming of your event and a technician(s) depending on the size of the event, please fill out the Media Request Form located at: http://www.wit.edu/dts/media-services/forms/media-request/index.html. All requests should be made at least two (2) weeks in advance to ensure that the DTS team has sufficient notice to plan for the event. Note: All requests are subject to approval pending available staffing and resources. Equipment will be set up for your event in a timely manner as discussed during the initial request. All equipment will be signed out and will be the responsibility of the user as outlined in the Loaner Equipment Authorization Form that will be completed at the time of deployment. A technician will be present on site to run cameras as well as streaming software and will not be available for any other media needs. If other media assistance is requested you must submit a Media Request Form at the link listed above.
Classes, Presentations, Events
Events that will not be steamed include, but are not limited to, Individual classes, class presentations, class events, etc.
Events that may streamed include campus-wide events, outside presenters, high profile events, etc., to be determined by Media Services and the Manager of User Services.
All streaming requests must be made at least two (2) weeks in advance of the event for proper planning. The requestor must be a current faculty or staff member of Wentworth Institute of Technology. Event streaming will only be for academic events and DTS Staff can decline events without listing reason. DTS staff must approve all events to ensure resources are available.

DTS will stream the event and provide a download link if requested to the initial requestor only. We cannot assist with conversion or video editing of the stream after and are not liable for any faults or problems that arise from our process or set up.
DTS can set up to four (4) cameras for live streaming. A PC will be provided for live video mixing and none can be done after the fact. If you would like any names included over speakers please provide them beforehand. DTS will need a wired network connection in the event room location in order to stream.
