Setting up an iOS Device with Wentworth Email

Wentworth does NOT officially support the iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch and other iOS devices as mobile email client.

NOTE: Please update your iOS device to version 4 or later before continuing. For instructions on how to do this, visit. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1414.

HOW TO SETUP iOS device with Wentworth email:

  1. Open "Settings" --> "Mail, Contacts, Calendars".

  2. Click "Add Account...".

  3. Choose "Microsoft Exchange".

  4. Enter your information
    1. Email: enter your email address ending with "@studentmail.wit.edu" instead of "@wit.edu"
    2. Domain: leave this blank
    3. Username: your email address ending with "@wit.edu" (NOT "@studentmail.wit.edu")
    4. Password: your password
    5. Description "WIT"
  5. Click "Next"
  6. If prompted with "Cannot verify server identity", press continue.
  7. Turn "Mail", "Contacts", and "Calendars" to the "on" position.
