Setting up a BlackBerry Device with Wentworth Email

Wentworth does not officially support blackberries as mobile email client. You will only be able to receive and send email on a BlackBerry.  Calendar appointments, contacts, tasks, and other items will not synchronize to your phone. 

How to setup BlackBerry device with Wentworth email:

Note: Instructions may vary depending on BlackBerry model, OS version and carrier.
  1. Click the Email Settings icon on your BlackBerry menu
  2. Click on the Add button
  3. Click on the Other link. The type of account that you will be adding is IMAP/POP. Then click Next >
  4. Make sure the I will provide the settings to add this email account radio button is marked, then click Next >
  5. Type in your full email address and password. Then click Next >
  6. Fill in your full Email address for both Email address and User name. Then, fill in your password. The Email server is studentmail.wit.edu. Click Next >
  7. Enter your information
    1. Email: your email address
    2. Username: your email address (ie smithj@wit.edu)
    3. Password: your password
    4. Email Server: pod51008.outlook.com (IMAP/SMTP)
  8. Click Next >
  9. If configured correctly, you will get an Account Setup Confirmation
