Setting up Outlook 2011 for Mac with Wentworth Email

If you're a Mac user, the recommended email client for Mac is Outlook 2011. If you don't have Outlook 2011 for Mac, please visit "Access your Software" in LConnect (http://lconnect.wit.edu). If you have difficulty getting Outlook installed, contact the helpdesk at helpdesk@wit.edu or 617-989-4500.

HOW TO SETUP OUTLOOK 2011 FOR MAC

  1. Launch Outlook 2011. It may be in your dock, but if not it is located “Macintosh HD” --> “Applications” --> “Microsoft Office 2011” --> “Outlook.app”.
  2. Open Outlook's Preferences by clicking on "Outlook" in the menu bar, then "Preferences".

  3. Click on “Accounts”.

  4. Click on the "+" in the bottom right hand corner of the window and choose "Exchange...".

  5. Click on “Exchange Account”
  6. Enter your full email address, username (which is your email address without the "@wit.edu" on the end) and your password.

                  Make sure “Configure Automatically” is checked.

  1. Click on the "Add Account" button.
