Mac Printing
Adding a Network Printer
DTS has developed an easy means for the Wentworth Mac community to add network printers. Modeled after how its done on the PC, follow this simple tutorial on adding network printers to your Mac.
- With the Finder selected, goto “Go” and choose “Connect to Server”. You can also use the keyboard shortcut “cmd + K”

- Type into the text field “smb://print.wit.edu/Mac_Printers”. You can save this address, by click the plus (+) symbol to the right.

- Enter your Wentworth email username and password. To make it easier to connect to again. Check the box that says “Remember this password in my keychain”

- Double click any of the print queues listed to add the printer to your computer. The first number before the hyphen (“-”) in the file name refers the building number (see below for building numer to building name table). The second number after the hyphen (“-”) refers to the room number. And the last part of the name refers to the model of the printer.
