Backing Up Your Windows 7 PC
Backing up to an External Device
- Plug in an external storage device.
- Click on the start menu and then choose Computer.
- Double-click on your external storage device.
- Select the files and folders on your computer that you wish to backup and click and drag them into the window for your external device.
This process will take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours depending on the amount of data you are backing up.
