IMPACT! encourages new multicultural students to connect with each other, upper-class students, and resources on campus aimed at promoting success at Wentworth. During this one day program, you will:
- learn academic strategies from Wentworth faculty
- receive information about support services available to you
- explore the potential opportunities and challenges for multicultural students
- engage with current students to explore ways to navigate the campus climate
- begin a mentoring relationship
To participate in IMPACT!, new students must:
- attend a one day orientation program before Wentworth Opening Week
- attend a monthly dinner meeting during their first year
- participate in a mentoring program – new students are matched with an upper class student
