Advisory Boards
Advisory Boards Advisory Boards play a critical role in the continuous development and evolution of our programs. They are an integral part of the learning, support and assessment cycle for students, faculty, and staff and link the programs firmly to the current and future of the built environment. Their primary goals include:
- To advise the Department of the professional requirements of the private and public sectors and the implications of those requirements upon the curriculum;
- To provide a forum in which teaching, research, professional development, and academic excellence can be discussed relative to the needs of the profession and related industries;
- To develop and recommend to the Department effective programs for recruiting students to the programs and to internships, co-op, and permanent positions;
- To assist the Department in locating funds and gifts for its educational and outreach programs.
The Construction Management Program is accredited by the American Council of Construction Education.
