Lisa MacLean is Massachusetts born and bred. She discovered programming at the age of fifteen in high school and has been involved with technology ever since. She spent nearly fifteen years in industry as a programmer, systems analyst, network and database administrator. Databases and networks remain her favorite things, both in teaching and in research.
Ha ha! Free time. That’s a good one. Sorry, Kaitlin, this one is blank.
I focus on teaching the database sequence (Comp 355 and Comp 570) and the network sequence of Comp 218 and Comp 563. In the summer, I teach Comp 655 and Comp 670, Senior Project and Senior Seminar. I encourage my students in these courses to use live projects and service-earning projects whenever possible.
Lisa MacLean compulsively buys purple things and has a bad highlighter addiction.
