ASB Florida will be returning to Homestead again in 2013. Students spent a week last spring here as well, completing their service at Biscayne National Park, and the Florida Keys Wild Bird Center. At Biscayne National Park, the students helped with eco-restoration of a natural barrier reef that has experienced pollution over the years due to the tide. They also gave their time to the Florida Keys Wild Bird Center helping to clean and build habitats for rescued birds, as well as general maintenance and clean up for the organization. The students made a great connection with a Wentworth alumni who worked at Biscayne and are looking forward to returning this spring.
