Diversity Week - Everyone is Welcome!
March 19 - 23, 2012
Diversity Week focuses on all aspects of diversity. The Office of Student Leadership Programs, the Intercultural Center and various cultural organizations put together a great variety of programming such as dances, conferences, music, club sessions and film screening. Stop by to see the new spaces, have some snacks and refreshments, and offer your thoughts and opinions on how we can use and decorate these spaces!
Tuesday, March 20th

Spark - English - noun |spärk| - inspiration, vitality, catalyst
The Genki Spark all ages performance troupe promotes the voice and visibility of Asian women with their positive attitudes, team spirit, and zest for life while advocating respect for all. You will not be able to stay in your seat during this high energy performance.
Wednesday, March 21st
The film explores how the media’s misrepresentations of women have led to the underrepresented of women in positions of power and influence. An official selection at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, the documentary includes stories and commentary from Condoleezza Rice, Katie Couric, Rosario Dawson and more. Discussion to follow.

Drop-in Diversity Dialogue with member of the Diversity Committee
Come by anytime between 2 - 5pm to talk about any topic that may be on your mind. Affirmative Action? Gay Marriage? Representation of women in the media? What the heck is Social Justice? Whatever it is, come by and engage in dialogue with your peers and members of the Diversity Committee. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
