Crew

At WIT Crew we welcome all students of the Colleges of the Fenway community to join us.
Above all else we work to create a strong and inviting team, where everyone who wishes can be part of the greatest sport on the planet. We work hard to create a strong team both on and off the water. We strive for perfection in every stroke and we know that can only be achieved through teamwork.

Mountain Biking
The Wentworth Mountain Bike Club is an adventurous and active club that is always open to any participants. All the club requires is that you have your own bike and gear. Throughout the season, the club attends many events and competitions that include a variety of riding from downhill, to cross country, and to dual slalom racing. A member of the team does not need to race but racing is always an option for any member. All around, the club consists of a group of outgoing individuals who share their passion for biking with one another. Others are always welcome to join.

Men's Rugby
The purpose of this club is to give students the opportunity to learn to play rugby. It is also to give the students an outlet outside of school where they can make friends easily and play a wonderful game at the same time. Rugby is very fun and exciting. It keeps players in shape and allows them to become a tight knit group of friends on and off the field.

Women's Rugby

The Wentworth Women’s Rugby Club, since it’s founding in 2003, has really progressed and shown much effort to improve. Of the utmost importance to us are our networking, safety, team unity, and achievement. We have become part of a bigger community by traveling outside of the city, and being hosted by some teams that have been outstanding with their hospitality while also bettering our experience in the game. In effort to be just as successful, we must turn to the basic action of educating our community of the sport of Rugby. This branching out process for our team has resulted in the past couple years, in not only being active members of our Wentworth and COF community, but in our Boston community as well. Our involvement on and off campus has reflected our commitment to our community as well as the bonds between teammates across the COF. We hope to continue the relationships that have been formed as well as help them grow while forming new ones.

Ultimate Frisbee

Wentworth Ultimate Frisbee provides an opportunity for students from Wentworth and the Colleges of the Fenway to learn the game of ultimate, compete against other colleges of all sizes from across the country and have fun while creating a positive team atmosphere. We attend an average of one tournament a month as well as scrimmage local schools. Recently WIT Ultimate has qualified for Div III nationals during the ’09-’10 season. Additionally, we host an alumni game every year at the end of the spring season reaching out to past players and club members. Recently many players have taken their skills to the highest level of competition by also competing on regional club teams, taking with them the name and prestige of Wentworth.
