Cultural Organizations

The Intercultural Center is home to seven Cultural Organizations at Wentworth. All of our student organizations are open to anyone who wants to join regardless of identity or major, as long as you support the mission of the organization. You can find a description of each group below as well as contact information.  You can also contact the Intercultural Center at ic@wit.edu for more information.

Multicultural Student Association

Sit back and think a minute: “What is Culture?” Is it the food? Or maybe it’s where your family is from. Maybe it’s the music we listen, sing and dance to, the art that draws us in, or the friend and family that support us. In whatever situation, culture is home, and multiculturalism is learning and living.

Join the Multicultural Student Association (MSA) to learn more about the different cultures we’re exposed to every day. MSA sets up various programs throughout the year that celebrate life and diversity.

If you want to be a part of…

  • Planning programs and meeting tons of people form everywhere
  • Going to conferences and retreats in and outside of Massachusetts
  • Learning professional and organizational skills and how to work better in groups

Then come to one of MSA’s meetings. It’s an opportunity that can’t be missed.

National Society of Black Engineers

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) dedicates itself to the development of intensive programs for increasing Black and other ethnic minority participation in the field of engineering and engineering technology. Our mission is “to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.” The NSBE experience empowers every member to reach their full potential. We instill pride and add value to our members, which causes them to want to give back to NSBE in order to produce a continuum of success. We are advancing a cultural paradigm which inspires the black community to achieve greater engineering and scientific feats than ever before.
