Robert Bateman, IPAC Member

Robert Bateman

Bob Bateman is the Managing Partner of R. D. Bateman Consulting LLC., a firm that provides executive level Project Management guidance to IT. Prior to his retirement from IBM in 2007, Bob held a number of management positions including; sales, technical and operations management, manager in the Cambridge Scientific Center, senior manager in IBM Global Services, and as Trading Area CIO. At various times in his career, he was responsible for help desks, call centers, workstations, servers farms, data centers, network support and operations in the U.S. and Canada. He has been the Project Manager or Program Manager for the creation of data centers, network operations centers and global network management centers in the U.S., Canada and Brazil. In the past, Bob severed as the Executive in Residences in the Management Department at the Wentworth Institute of Technology. Most recently, Bob has lead efforts in capacity planning and provisioning for virtualized IT environments. He and his wife, Joann, are New England natives, who make their home in Scituate, MA.

Susan Curran, IPAC Member

Susan Curran

A 25 year IS veteran, Susan Curran has extensive experience in outsourcing, global resourcing, product management, service and vendor management, project management, program development, and continuous improvement practices. She's amassed a record of significant accomplishment in the development and maturation of global teams, PMOs and professional service organizations in start-up ventures to global institutions. Susan has many years of experience in applying people, process and technology to solve business challenges facing various industries including Financial Services, Healthcare, Emergency Services, and Manufacturing.  She is certified in various industry frameworks, tools and technologies directed toward continuous improvement and organizational transformation. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science, as well as an MBA in Business Strategy and Analytics from Boston University

Judy Dunn

Judy Dunn

Judy is a Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 30 years of information technology (IT) related project, program, and portfolio management experience. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Norwich University.  Judy joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston in 1996.  She has been instrumental in implementing processes and tools to improve the delivery of IT projects. She developed project management standards, guidelines, and processes, and she established a Project Management Office in Boston. Judy is currently the Director of Project and Program Management Technical Services for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.  Judy and her team support FedPPM, an enterprise Project and Portfolio Management software application that utilizes the CA PPM platform.  FedPPM is used by Project Managers, Project Team Members, Program Managers, Portfolios Managers, and Resource Managers throughout the Federal Reserve System.

Michael Hogan, IPAC Member

Mike Hogan

Mike Hogan has 30+ years of experience in investment banking. He spent his last 28 years with Credit Suisse both in Chicago and Boston. As a member of fixed income sales, Mr. Hogan covered institutional accounts, including Fidelity and State Street Bank, which were two of the largest. Mr. Hogan is currently transitioning to new career as small business owner of an education consulting firm, Hogan College Consulting. He will work with students on the college search and application process. He has spent last year retooling and is halfway through the IEC (Independent Educational Consultant) certificate program which is offered online through UCAL-Irvine. Mr. Hogan has become an Associate Member of IECA, and has visited many college campuses to get boots on the ground feel.

Ed Yee, IPAC Member

Ed Yee

Ed Yee, PMP, MBA, is engaged in consulting and in the non-profit community serving in various board leadership roles. Mr. Yee served in engineering, marketing, operations and business management roles at Digital, Compaq and Hewlett-Packard Company. He managed engineering groups, global hardware and software New Product Introduction development teams and the delivery of custom IT solution deployments in the Telecom and DoD industry. Mr. Yee is a past president and treasurer of the Central Mass Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI), a founding board member, past vice chair and current secretary of the Belmont Media Center, a board member of the Boston Microsoft Project User Group (MPUG) and serves in various volunteer leadership roles. He also serves on the Business Advisory Council at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA.. Mr. Yee holds an electrical engineer degree as well as an executive MBA and is a PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification and is an active member of the Project Management Institute Central Mass Chapter.

Laura Yorks is a senior manager at West Monroe Partners where she leads the east coast Insurance practice. A skilled program manager with a strong record for leading large, multi-year, global transformation initiatives, she has more than 20 years of insurance industry experience as both a consultant and an executive. She is a thought leader in multiple service areas including Multi-Channel Distribution Solutions, Life Insurance Solutions and Group Insurance Solutions.

Bill Fortier, IPAC Member

Bill Fortier

Bill Fortier is a Vice President and senior IT program manager at State Street Corporation, a worldwide leader in the financial services industry.  State Street customers include mutual funds and their advisers, collective investment funds, corporate and public pension funds, insurance companies, operating companies and non-profit organizations.  Bill is a Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 25 years’ experience as a project & program manager at State Street.  During his career he has been responsible for establishing & managing the program management office for business process implementations, new architecture & technology initiatives, client integrations, merger & acquisitions, and business & IT transformation programs.  Bill is currently focused on the program build-out for IT Governance, Risk & Compliance in response to the increasing complexity of U.S. and Global Regulator requirements

Loan Vu

Loan Vu

Loan Vu is a Wentworth Alum from the Management Class of 2005. While at Wentworth Loan did her co-op with the City of Boston to help bring affordable technology to low income families. After college, she spent her time in the market research and healthcare industry. Today Loan works in Sales Operations for Kantar Retail, a market research company that focuses on the CPG industry. She spends most of her day in big data analytics to help the CEO and leadership team be equipped to make strategic changes to increase profit. Loan has learned a lot from her education at Wentworth, so in the Fall of 2014 she enrolled into Wentworth’s grad program for a Master’s of Science in Technology.

Paul Geffken

Paul R. Geffken

Paul R. Geffken, Bachelors of Science in Management 2005. Currently the Director of Operations and Marketing at the Steele Canvas Basket Corporation in Chelsea, MA. Previously Office Administrator/Executive Support at the Boston Red Sox, Sales Operations for fashion startup, Stylinity and completed contract work in the Events Department at the Center for Education Policy at Harvard University.  Resides with his wife Susan and son Anderson in North Andover, MA.  Paul is an avid marathon runner and volunteers on the board of a few local non-profit charitable road races.
