NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass.-Husson built a 40-31 halftime lead and went on to defeat Wentworth, 78-69, in the first game of the annual Hampton Inn Classic at UMass Dartmouth’s Tripp Athletic Center Friday evening.
Sheraud Lee led the Eagles with 23 points, Brock Bradford added 20 points and nine assists, and Scott Kissinger had 15. Kevin Wentworth (Ware, Mass.) led the Leopards with 18 points and Sherrad Prezzie-Blue Norwalk, Conn.) had 11.
The Leopards fell to 0-1 with the defeat, while the Eagles improved to 1-0. Wentworth Albertus Magnus for third place at 1:00 p.m.; while Husson will play UMass Dartmouth at 3:00 p.m.
