American Institute Architects Students (AIAS)
Wentworth Chapter

The American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) at Wentworth Institute of Technology is a chapter of a national non-profit student-led architecture organization with the mission to promote excellence in architecture education, training, and practice; to foster an appreciation of architecture and related disciplines; to enrich communities in a spirit of collaboration; and to organize students and combine their efforts to advance the art and science of architecture. The AIAS is one of 5 collateral organizations that lead the profession of architecture in the United States of America.  The other organizations are the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the National Council of Architecture Registration Board (NCARB), the National Architecture Accreditation Board (NAAB), and the American Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA).

Wentworth Architecture Club (WAC)

The Wentworth Architecture club is a student-run organization dealing with issues and events related to Architecture at Wentworth. The club plans architectural field trips, contests and other activitiesat Wentworth as well as in the greater New England area. The club works closely with the AIAS chapter at Wentworth, representing a voice of the students in the Architecture Department.
