Professor Mark Klopfer wins prestigious national design award from the Bruner Foundation.
Professor Mark Klopfer and his landscape architecture firm Klopfer Martin Design Group have been awarded a silver medal from the Bruner Foundation, which sponsors the Rudy Bruner Award for Urban Excellence. The award recognizes the Steel Yard in Providence, Rhode Island. This year marks the organization's twenty-fifth year of honoring innovative urban place-making. Founded in 1987, the biennial award celebrates urban places distinguished by quality design and contributions to the social, economic, and communal vitality of cities in the United States.
