There are many candidates out there who are worthy of an Alumni Association Award.  Yet none sits on their shelves.  Why not?  Because no friend, spouse, colleague, or classmate thought to take five minutes to nominate him or her.

The Wentworth Alumni Association Annual Awards are an honor to bestow on a colleague, a fellow alumnus/a, an organization, or any other individual or employer you feel deserves recognition for his/her efforts and contributions to Wentworth, its mission, and the community in general. Awards are presented annually at a ceremony held by the Alumni Association.

Here's the good news: it's easy to nominate someone for an award. Just fill the nomination form out, return it to us, and your labors are ended. Then, the awards committee has the pleasure of determining the best candidate to receive each of the association's eight awards.

Award Categories

Gold Leopard Award
Presented to an individual with long-term commitment and outstanding loyalty to Wentworth, the community, the state, and the nation. This individual strives for excellence and achievement.

Distinguished Service Award
For an individual who shows enthusiastic support of Wentworth and dedicated service to its community. Through his/her commitment, this individual helps to strengthen the ties that unite the campus community.

Distinguished Alumnus/a Award
Given to an alumnus/a whose exemplary service and remarkable accomplishments have contributed tremendously to his/her field.

Alumni Leadership Award
Recognizes the worthwhile contributions of an alumnus/a to the Wentworth community. He/she exhibits leadership characteristics that strengthen the pride and spirit others feel toward Wentworth.

Young Alumni Award
This award honors the talents and personal and professional growth of a young alumnus/a (a graduate within the past ten years). This individual strives to stay connected to Wentworth.

Certificate of Appreciation
Presented to an individual who contributes significantly to
Wentworth's reputation through words or deeds on- or
off-campus.

Community Service Award
For outstanding service and volunteer efforts by an alumnus/a in his/her community.

Distinguished Employer Award
Recognizes an individual or enterprise that consistently strives to hire Wentworth graduates and co-op students. The award recipient recognizes the skills and aptitude of Wentworth alumni and students; by hiring or working with these individuals, the employer promotes Wentworth.
