TLC Tutors

Peer Tutors are hired to assist students in a variety of subjects. In order to qualify as a tutor, students must maintain a GPA of 3.0, receive a B (B+ preferred) or better in the content based coursework, and provide a recommendation from a faculty member. Peer Tutors help students with maths, sciences, computer programs and many major related/technical courses.

Most departments and majors are represented in the TLC. The tutors' schedules are also located in the cabinet outside of the Center. Peer tutors work with all students, including First Year students, Upperclassmen, International students and students with learning disabilities. Their hours range from 9:00AM-8:00PM Monday-Thursday and 9:00AM-5:00PM Friday.
