A Global Context

As a center of learning and research, Boston attracts people from all over the world. At Wentworth, you can be a part of this global culture, learning from your international classmates who currently hail from 46 countries. You can study abroad in Wentworth’s established programs in France and Germany. As part of various programs and classes, students have traveled to many destinations, such as China, Japan, Peru, Nicaragua, Portugal, Italy, the Czech Republic, Finland, Russia, and Turkey.

Beyond the many resources at Wentworth, you can take advantage of the Colleges of the Fenway’s Global Education Opportunities Center. The center provides access to exchange programs and overseas institutions as well as cross-registration for faculty-led travel courses. Recent destinations have included Egypt, Ghana/Benin, Japan, Brazil, Costa Rica, France, and Spain.  Please note, while  individual travel is possible, Wentworth does not make any assurances or provide opinions on the quality of the off-site programs and service providers, with the exception of course approval by the academic department.  Students should also be aware that studying abroad through a third party provider will have an impact on Wentworth aid and scholarships.

You will learn about and from other cultures during your time at Wentworth. Throughout your education, you will interact with international students, faculty, and staff who will help prepare you to participate successfully in a global marketplace.
