U.S.News and World Report Ranks Wentworth as Best Undergraduate Engineering Program
For the second year, Wentworth Institute of Technology has been ranked in the top 100 for the “Best Colleges Specialty Rankings: Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs” by U.S.News & World Report as part of the publication’s annual college rankings for this year—America’s Best Colleges 2011.
According to U.S. News, the methodology used for the “Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs” ranking is as follows: “The U.S. News rankings of undergraduate engineering programs accredited by ABET, formerly known as the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, are based solely on the peer judgments of deans and senior faculty who rated each program they are familiar with… Engineering school deans and faculty members were surveyed for this ranking in spring 2010.”
