Academic profile
An independent, coeducational college offering bachelor’s degrees in the fields of architecture, computer science, construction, design, engineering, engineering technology, environmental science, and management. Accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Founded in 1904.

Co-op
Active for more than 30 years, ours is one of the largest and most comprehensive cooperative education programs of its kind in the nation. Co-op is a requirement for all majors.

Enrollment
3,636 students (3,141 full-time) from 37 states and 50 countries. ALANA (African, Latino/a, Asian, Native American) enrollment is 15 percent and international enrollment is five percent. 12 percent of new students are transfers.

134 full-time faculty.

Approximately 100 international students, representing 5 percent of undergraduate enrollment.

Campus life
Co-ed residence halls (rooms or suites) and apartments, with cable, phone, and wireless Internet. Student center, 75,000-volume library, athletics field, gymnasium, fitness center, bookstore, convenience store, and food-court cafeteria. More than 40 student activities and chapter memberships in professional associations. Women’s Resource Center; Academic Resource Center; Health, Counseling, and Career centers; and 24-hour campus police.

Athletics
NCAA Division III, Eastern College Athletic Conference, Commonwealth Coast Conference; 14 intercollegiate varsity teams.

Colleges of the Fenway
The Colleges of the Fenway is one of Boston’s largest academic collaborations. This partnership with Emmanuel, Simmons, and Wheelock colleges, Massachusetts College of Art, and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences features cross-registration, combined social events, and an expanded campus community.

Admissions
Wentworth practices rolling admissions, which means applications are reviewed as they are received. However, we recommend that students submit applications by February 15 if they will also be applying for financial aid. Transfer students are welcome. Students are encouraged to apply online; online application fee is $10, paper application fee is $30.

Costs
2007 - 2008 academic year: tuition, $20,150; typical room and board, $9,650.

Financial aid
More than 75 percent of Wentworth students receive financial aid.

Campus visits
Register for daily tours, open houses in the fall, and special campus events year round.
