On Sunday, August 26, 2007 more than 1,000 new
Wentworth students will be moving into the residence halls for the
academic year and to attend Wentworth Opening Week (WOW). It is
imperative that students and their families follow their assigned
move-in time that is included in the
Housing Assignment Letter, which will be mailed after July 15, 2007. Vehicle Limitation:
Since Wentworth is located in the heart of the Fenway section of Boston,
proper traffic flow is necessary to maintain a smooth move-in process. As such, the Institute is limiting each student to one vehicle for move-in purposes. This measure has been put into place to accommodate the significant number of students moving in that day.
Move-in tips:
- No non-Wentworth furniture may be moved in.
- If you have access to a hand-truck, it will facilitate an easier move-in.
- Cars cannot be left unattended during that actual move-in process. If possible, you may want to bring one family member to stay with your car and one family member to assist you with your move.
