Boston, MA – February 5, 2007 – Wentworth Institute of Technology’s Department of Civil, Construction, and Environment today launched the program’s second entrepreneurship lecture series. Michael Powers, President and CEO, Symmes Maini & McKee, led an informative and interactive lecture on the topic of Architecture and Engineering. After being introduced by President Zorica Pantic, Mr. Powers engaged over 85 lecture participants in a discussion around leadership, governance structures and accountability, sustainability, top trends in the industry, and the challenges and opportunities ahead. Participants asked thoughtful questions focused around technology, green design, sustainability, and recommendations for staying ahead of industry trends.
The lecture series brings together leading industry executives to discuss and share experiences and perspective in their respective fields. The series is organized as part of the Construction Business and Finance course and is open to all members of the Wentworth Community.
